Leifers and Surroundings

The small "apple city" of Leifers is located a few kilometers south of the provincial capital of Bolzano in the green Etschtal valley, surrounded by vineyards and apple orchards. Leifers is one of the few municipalities in South Tyrol where a majority of the residents are native Italian speakers. In the main town of Leifers and its districts of Steinmannwald, St. Jakob, and Seit, the coexistence of various South Tyrolean linguistic groups has resulted in a harmonious symbiosis. Due to its central location, the town is an ideal starting point for excursions of all kinds. The town's vibrant community life, with its many clubs (such as the brass band, youth association, volunteer fire brigade, and shooting club), ensures there's always something happening. Our farm is located in a quiet area surrounded by apple orchards. The town center is about a 15-minute walk away. You can reach the Leifers outdoor pool in about 10 minutes and the train station in about 20 minutes.
